Details of the coins you own can be checked from (Menu) → (Coin Balance) at the top right of the Home screen.
Free Coins are those obtained in-game, such as by clearing stages, while Paid Coins are those purchased from the Shop.
Coins will always be consumed starting with Free Coins first.
